Adjusting Well...
Karlie and Nathan are adjusting to the new baby better than I thought.
Karlie has become little mother, expected when it comes to changing the diaper. But that's were Nathan comes in. He loves changing it and he even loves to wipe the bum, apply diaper rash cream, and throws the diaper in the trash. Number three is easier then I had planned for. Expected for the dreaded night feedings and changings, hopefully in a couple of months that will all be in the past.

Gavin Bryce
Gavin was born Nov 8, soon after the Touch a Truck park. He weighed 7lbs 11oz and was 20 inches long. He is as perfect as they come. Now if only the delivery had gone that way. I thought Karlies was bad with the fourth degree rip, then Nathan's all natural. But Gavins... we got there to late again, so I was made to go natural, no IV's, nothing. But the worst was that I had a lip or something that was preventing the head from coming out. So the doctor had to put her hands in a hold down the lip. Talk about pain, I was yelling at her to take her hands out of me, but only the head finally came over it, it went back up, we had to do it all over again. Then the little boy kept rotating his head, painful, so she had to stick her hands up and hold his head straight. All of this with no meds. I can't believe I'm still here. I push for over an hour almost 2. I think that's good birth control for me, I don't want to have another for a long time. But I must put a plug in for my doctor, she was wonderful, better then a midwife. She stayed with me the whole time from the moment I got there. And she even took pictures of the baby, because she didn't like the ones J.R. took. She took all of them but two. I was so happy to have finally a great doctor.

Touch a Truck
Touch a Truck is at a fun park, where people bring all kinds of vechiles ex...firetrucks, garage trucks, racing trucks.... And it's Nov 8, and the baby still hadn't come so I decided to go with them and walk around, still nothing major. I thought this baby just doesn't want to come. Which I was glad to go with my kids there, it was fun to see, them having so much fun there.

Happy Halloween!
We had such a blast this Halloween. Grandma flew in to celebrate with us. Karlie had a preschool party, then we all went to Liberty Village for a fun parade, trick or treating, and a magic show. I walked all around trying to get little Gavin out, but nothing happened. That night we went trick or treating to our neighbors, Nathan was so funny, he loved the fact he got candy, he ran to every door, even when Karlie was done and wanted to go home, Nathan wanted to keep going. Nathan also copied everything that the person holding the candy said. It was a great night. J.R. even go home in time to catch the last few minutes of it.

Happy Birthday Karlie!
We had a early birthday party for Karlie. It was a fun Costume/ Halloween party. We had so much fun, especially since they are all are little older. We got too pin the nose on the pumpkin, do a cake walk, find the eye in the guts, and the best games was the treasure hunt. I loved to see Karlie and Nathan having so much fun.
The funny thing was that two nights before, and day, I had contractions 3 to 5 minutes appart. I was so worried about canceling the party. I went to the doctor, she said it could come if I wanted it to. I told her no not until after the party. So she put me on bedrest. But now the party is over, and I have had no contractions....part of me wishes I just went in a had it. Now this week in slow and I want the baby to come, but it doesn't look like it wants to now.

Camping....
We finally decided to go camping. It was so pretty, with the beautiful trees all full of color. The kids loved it. The only complaint I had was, that I'm due soon, I had to get up, in the cold and dark. And try to find and make it to a bathroom every hour all night. I guess, I would be up anyway, since I was sleeping on a pile of rocks. But it was still fun to just be together in the nice outdoors as a family.

Pirate and Princess Party!
We got bored so we invited some friends over for a fun Pirate and Princess, party last week. The kids loved it, the treasure hunt went well, Karlie and Nathan were so funny, both trying to be the leader of the pack. I'm surprised that the other kids always follow them. But they both fight and fight on who tells who what to do. I feel bad for their new brother that's coming, he's going to have two bossy/motherly older siblings. I'll have to post the pic's later.

Our 4 and 2 year old pics
We finally made it down to Jcpenny's to use their wonderful $7.99 coupon. I usually do this every year, but this year it took me awhile to actually do it.
Karlie did a great job smiling for the camera, but Nathan, cried the whole time. It was so hard picking a picture and finding one that didn't have tears.
But I guess the both turned out okay. I can't believe how big they are getting.

Catholic Mass
Last Sunday we had the opportunity to go to Catholic Mass and to a baby christening/baptism. It was a great experience for my kids. The church was one of the prettiest churches I've been to. And the Catholic Priest came up and talked to kids and me. It was fun to answer Karlie's questions about what makes this church different from the one we go to. I hope my kids get more of these opportunities, I loved it when my family moved to WI and I was able to go to many different churches/ religions and see baptisms and weddings, it only me made me stronger in mine.
